SCHMID, Alessandra

Profile

I'm Alessandra Schmid and I've been proudly representing the Swiss National Skimountaineering Team since 2019. While my passion for this exciting sport may have been a happy coincidence after quitting alpine skiing, it certainly didn't take long for me to fall head over heels for the perfect combination of skiing, endurance and breathtaking mountain scenery. As a member of the athlete's commission, I'm eager to share the opinions and perspectives of the skimo community and help promote and preserve the beauty of this incredible sport.
