New projects for ISMF competitions

During the latest annual Forum held last weekend in Milano, the Council has decided that, beginning from the 2019-2020 season, two new disciplines will become a part of the international calendar: the Long Distance race and a new category, the Masters with a possible organisation of dedicated World Championships.

The development of the projects will be carried out by the coordinator of the Technical Group, Oriol Montero Garcia, who is already at work and will present the guidelines in December.

Already this year a new series at Mount Elbrus (Russia) will simulate a Long Distance race.

Another project which will oversee the various National Championships considered as Series circuits and in the future as possible destinations for the Cup or World Championship events is also planned for the ISMF.
