The first ISMF World Cup of the 2021/22 season is confirmed

 

Lausanne, 29 November 2021 Jointly with the Local Organising Committee of Pontedilegno-Tonale, the ISMF is glad to confirm the first race event of the 2021/22 season, the Adamello World Cup, to be held from 16 to 19 December 2021.

 

The detailed programme of the event, which will take place except for cases of force majeure not depending on the International Federation, is enclosed here.

Pierre Dupont, the ISMF Vice-President Sport & Events affirms: “After the successful race season of last year, we are excited to present the first event of the upcoming season which is already in three weeks. The general atmosphere is very thrilling and I strongly believe that the races in Pontedilegno will magnificently open the new skimo season. A sincere good luck to all competing athletes!”

 

Technical information:

Registrations:

The registration for the ISMF World Cup in Pontedilegno-Tonale will be opened from tomorrow afternoon, 30 November 2021 and will close on Thursday 9 December 2021 at 24:00 (midnight). After that date, registrations will be no longer possible.

Before registering in any ISMF World Cup or Championships, athletes must have their own valid ISMF licence. You can check the current valid licences here.

In case of any issue in the online registration process do not hesitate to get in contact with the ISMF Office by clicking on “help” in any page during the registration procedure or at office@ismf-ski.org – mob. +39 3923566064.

 

Covid-19 & ISMF:

The ISMF calls to mind that the races will be held in full compliance with the anti-Covid measures and that each person involved in the event will have the obligation to strictly follow the ISMF Covid-19 guidelines available here.

As done last year for all scheduled events, the ISMF kindly provides everybody with a letter of movements (here) to cross the border lines, in case of necessity.

Furthermore, the ISMF kindly asks for a great cooperation from all teams to fill in the Excel document (here) sent to you in relation to the request of the following information (please pay attention as there are two different sheets to fill in inside the file):

  • Accommodation of the teams, including arrival and departure dates, hotel/apartment where you will be staying, name/surname/role of each person present at the competition venue;
  • National Team Covid-19 Coordinator name and contacts.

This document has to be sent back to the ISMF Office (office2@ismf-ski.org) no later than Thursday 9 December 2021.

 

Covid-19 & LOC/Italy:

The Local Organising Committee of Pontedilegno-Tonale would like to send everybody the Health Questionnaire (here) to be filled in and delivered to the LOC Covid-19 Coordinator when accrediting for the event.

In addition, the Covid-19 policy and the Covid-19 policy reporting line provided by the LOC (here) are available for all detailed information regarding the pandemic, including in particular the Covid-19 tests to be performed on site. Therefore, the ISMF asks everybody to read carefully its content.

In any case, the ISMF informs you that at the following link InfoCovid – Viaggiare Sicuri it is p ossible to get some more specifications regarding the travel to and from Italy in relation to Covid-19.

The ISMF would like to inform that the Italian Government has recently released a new Decree regarding Covid-19 pandemic, to be put into force starting from 6 December 2021, and new related restriction. It seems that the sporting events have not undergone changes compared to last season, but the ISMF would like to point out that, if there will be any updates or clarifications in the coming weeks, they will be communicated to everyone as soon as possible.
