The ISMF-LGC World Championships Long Distance Team is confirmed

The International Ski Mountaineering Federation jointly with the Local Organising Committee of the famous Pierra Menta are proud to confirm that the ISMF-LGC World Championships Long Distance Team will take place on Friday 12 March 2021 in Arêches Beaufort, France.

Pierre Dupont, ISMF Vice-President Sport & Events, states: “The ISMF is very pleased to have resumed the collaboration and the relationship with La Grande Course circuit and to be working to organise the first edition of the World Championships Long Distance Team. This is undoubtedly an excellent step towards the future which represents an important improvement and progress for the worldwide ski mountaineering”.

 

Technical information:

COVID-19 & France:

Each participant in the ISMF-LGC World Championships Long Distance Team must do a compulsory PCR test, whose negative result certificate must be given at the arrival on the competition location. Therefore, the antigen test will not be considered valid. The ISMF kindly reminds that the test must be done no more than 48 hours before entering France.
