The 4th CISM World Winter Games are postponed to the 2021/2022 winter season

Lausanne, 9 September 2020 – The ISMF officially received the sad news that the 4th CISM World Winter Games planned for the upcoming season from 23 to 28 March 2021 in Berchtesgaden & Ruhpolding (Germany) are postponed to the 2021/22 season. The decision was taken by the German Army due to unforeseeable consequences that the present worldwide Coronavirus pandemic could produce.

Ski mountaineering was part of the programme with three disciplines: Vertical, Individual and Sprint.

The new dates in 2021/2022 are still about to be defined.
