Olympic week in Lausanne: goal reached!

 

On Monday, October 14th the ISMF President Thomas Kähr, the Olympic Project Leader Armando Mariotta, the Vice-President MKTG & Communication Marco Mosso and the General & Event Manager Roberto Cavallo attended the opening day of the Olympic Week, held in Lausanne (Switzerland).
In this way they had the opportunity to observe the activities planned for this event in preparation for the Youth Olympic Games whose Olympic Village will be established in the centre town of Lausanne, while the skimo races will take place from 10th to 14th January 2020 in Villars-sur-Ollon (Switzerland).

In particular, this circumstance was addressed to school-age children, who were able to experiment with new activities through the guidance and example of experts of the various sports presented.
As people can seen from the images referring to this article, the participants were assisted in the practice of all-round ski mountaineering, starting from the positioning of the skins on skis, to move on the try of the equipment and finally the test of the real discipline using a sort of artificial track created especially for this occasion.
