Lausanne, 23rd January 2020 – Yesterday the Chinese Mountaineering Association informed the ISMF of its decision to cancel the ISMF Ski mountaineering World Cup and the Asian Championship events scheduled to be held from February 18th to 20th 2020. Large-scale organisational issues are the main reason for the CMA’s decision.

The Association’s representatives have expressed their deep regrets just one month prior to the scheduled international sport event.

The ISMF fully understands the CMA’s decision and thanks the Local Organising Committee for its great efforts and commitment.
