France, Italy, Spain and Switzerland qualify two teams in the finals

The second race day in Val Thorens was all about the Mixed Relay qualification.

Lausanne, 26 November 2022 – The first stage of the WÜRTH MODYF ISMF World Cup 2022/23 continued with the Mixed Relay qualification. Twelve teams from eight countries made it to tomorrow’s final.

Twenty-five teams lined up for the start of today’s qualification. France, Italy, Switzerland and Spain had more than two teams competing, and according to the rules, only two teams per country could make it to the final. Therefore, these countries will only be represented in the Final by their two best teams.

Thibault Anselmet and Emily Harrop of France, 2022 European Champions in this discipline, won the qualification ahead of compatriots Xavier Gachet and Célia Perillat-Pessey. Arno Lietha and Caroline Ulrich (Switzerland) had the third-best time.

Tomorrow’s programme kicks off with the B-final at 10:00. The live broadcast on TV.ISMF-SKI.ORG will start at 10:50 CET. The first-ever Mixed Relay final on the World Cup circuit will start at 11:00.
