The first WÜRTH MODYF ISMF World Cup is confirmed in Val Thorens, France

 

Lausanne, 15 November 2022 – Jointly with the Local Organising Committee of Val Thorens, France, the ISMF is pleased to confirm the race event named ISMF World Cup – Val Thorens, to be held from 25 to 27 November 2022.

Registrations:

The registrations for the Val Thorens World Cup races open today, 15 November 2022, and will close on Monday 21 November 2022 at h. 23:59 CET. After that date, registrations will be no longer possible.

In this regard, we kindly remind you the link where you can register your athletes: http://www.ismf-ski.org/webpages/competitions/register-to-ismf-races/.

Before registering in any ISMF World Cup or Championships, athletes must have their own valid ISMF licence. You can check the current valid licences here.

In case of any issue in the online registration process do not hesitate to get in contact with the ISMF Office by clicking on “help” in any page during the registration procedure or at valeria.ponzo@ismf-ski.org – mob. +39 334 7022775.

Regarding the registrations for the Mixed Relay, the ISMF informs that the National Federations have to register the teams following the usual procedure, so the registration through the ISMF intranet system will be individual for each athlete. Please note that no new teams will be accepted after the abovementioned deadline. The composition of the teams has to be communicated to the ISMF time-keeping company at the race office on Friday 25 November between h. 15:00 and 17:00 CET.

After the athletes’ performances held in the Sprint race on Friday 25 November, it will be possible to change the team composition for the Mixed Relay race with the ISMF time-keeping company at the race office on Friday 25 November between h. 15:00 and 17:00 CET.

 

Accommodation & meals:

VERY URGENT: The National Federations have to book the accommodation in Val Thorens no later than today, 15 November.

The Local Organising Committee of the Val Thorens World Cup offers the accommodation at a negotiated rate of 62,00 € per day/person (full board) in bedrooms for 3 or 4 people. The number of persons per bedroom can be coordinated with the hotel facility (the price may change a little).

The selected location for the accommodation is the UCPA Centre de Val Thorens (Val Thorens 73440 Les Belleville, France) for the people who would like to be accommodated inside the ski resort. It will be possible to be accommodated at the UCPA Centre from Monday 21 November to Sunday 27 November 2022 at midday.

To book your accommodation, we kindly ask you to contact Ms. Anais and Ms. Lucile (accommodation@skimo-worldcup.com or hello-groups@ucpa.asso.fr) with the following information:

  • National Federation and country of belonging
  • Total number of participants for each team (athletes + coaches + possible accompanying staff)
  • Room sharing (it could be modified by the hotel facility)
  • Arrival and departure dates
  • Special information (food requirements, etc.).

Like last season, a small contract will be prepared by the UCPA staff to be signed on site by the coach/representative person of each team.
