The ISMF confirms the Région Dents du Midi World Cup to be held in Morgins, Switzerland

 

Lausanne, 13 January 2022  Jointly with the Local Organising Committee of Morgins, the ISMF is glad to confirm the race event named Région Dents du Midi World Cup, to be held from 27 to 29 January 2022.

 

The detailed programme of the event, which will take place except for cases of force majeure not depending on the International Federation, is available on the event website.

Roberto Cavallo, ISMF Event director, affirms: ““The ISMF is very proud to organise a stage of ski mountaineering World Cup in Morgins for the first time. After the pre-visit that took place some weeks ago and the first contacts with the local organising committee, I am sure that the collaboration will be very fruitful and that with a common work we will be able to prepare a successful event, fully meeting the expectations of the athletes, the staff and the fans of our sport.”

Registrations:

The registration for the ISMF World Cup in Morgins, Switzerland, will be opened from today, 13 January 2022, and will close on Thursday 20 January 2022. After that date, registrations will be no longer possible.

Before registering in any ISMF World Cup or Championships, athletes must have their own valid ISMF licence. You can check the current valid licences here.

In case of any issue in the online registration process do not hesitate to get in contact with the ISMF Office by clicking on “help” in any page during the registration procedure or at office@ismf-ski.org – mob. +39 3923566064.

If you need more information about the accreditation for the ISMF Région Dents du Midi World Cup stage, please contact Mr. Thomas Leparmentier at tleparmentier@rddm.ch.

 

Covid-19 & ISMF:

The ISMF calls to mind that the races will be held in full compliance with the anti-Covid measures and that each person involved in the event will have the obligation to strictly follow the ISMF Covid-19 guidelines available here.

As usual, the ISMF kindly provides everybody with a letter of movements to cross the border lines, in case of necessity.

Furthermore, the ISMF kindly asks for a great cooperation from all teams to fill in the Excel document sent to you in relation to the request of the following information (please pay attention as there are two different sheets to fill in inside the file):

  • Accommodation of the teams, including arrival and departure dates, hotel/apartment where you will be staying, name/surname/role of each person present at the competition venue;
  • National Team Covid-19 Coordinator name and contacts (if different from what indicated for the past World Cups).

This document has to be sent back to the ISMF Office (office2@ismf-ski.orgno later than Friday 21 January 2022.

 

Covid-19 & LOC/Switzerland:

The Local Organising Committee of Morgins would like to send its Covid-19 policy, in which all details regarding the pandemic in Switzerland are available, including in particular the Covid-19 tests to be performed on site. Therefore, the ISMF asks everybody to read carefully its content and to pay attention to the content even if, for some points, the ISMF Covid-19 guidelines result more restrictive than the local requirements. As for the Health Questionnaire to be filled in and delivered to the LOC Covid-19 Coordinator when accrediting for the event, please refer to the ISMF one available in the protocol on the ISMF website.
