The ISMF announces the Comapedrosa Andorra World Cup to be held in mid-January

 

Lausanne, 23 December 2021 – Jointly with the Local Organising Committee of Arinsal, La Massana, the ISMF is glad to confirm the race event named Comapedrosa Andorra, to be held from 15 to 16 January 2022.

 

The detailed programme of the event, which will take place except for cases of force majeure not depending on the International Federation, is available on the event website.

Jordi Canals, the ISMF General Secretary states: “We are very excited to have a new ISMF World Cup stage in Andorra. It is always a pleasure to be able to collaborate with the local organising committee of Arinsal, La Massana, which has proved to be very competent and efficient on all occasions over many years. Let’s work together!”

 

Technical information:

Registrations:

The registration for the ISMF World Cup in Arinsal, La Massana, will be opened from tomorrow afternoon, 24 December 2021, and will close on Monday 10 January 2022 at 13:00. After that date, registrations will be no longer possible.

Before registering in any ISMF World Cup or Championships, athletes must have their own valid ISMF licence. You can check the current valid licences here.

Covid-19 & ISMF:

The ISMF calls to mind that the races will be held in full compliance with the anti-Covid measures and that each person involved in the event will have the obligation to strictly follow the ISMF Covid-19 guidelines available here.

As usual, the ISMF kindly provides everybody with a letter of movement to cross the border lines, in case of necessity.

Furthermore, the ISMF kindly asks for a great cooperation from all teams to fill in the Excel document sent to you in relation to the request of the following information (please pay attention as there are two different sheets to fill in inside the file):

  • Accommodation of the teams, including arrival and departure dates, hotel/apartment where you will be staying, name/surname/role of each person present at the competition venue;
  • National Team Covid-19 Coordinator name and contacts (if different from what indicated for the Adamello WC).

This document has to be sent back to the ISMF Office (office2@ismf-ski.orgno later than Monday 3 January 2022.

 

Covid-19 & LOC/Andorra:

The Local Organising Committee of Arinsal, La Massana would like to send its Covid-19 policy, in which all details regarding the pandemic are available, including in particular the Covid-19 tests to be performed on site. Therefore, the ISMF asks everybody to read carefully its content and to pay attention that the Covid-19 requirements from the Andorran legislation are more restrictive than the ISMF guidelines. As for the Health Questionnaire to be filled in and delivered to the LOC Covid-19 Coordinator when accrediting for the event, please refer to the ISMF one available in the guidelines on the ISMF website.

The LOC has planned the possibility to perform Covid-19 antigenic tests on-site. The deadline of 12 hours related to the antigenic tests has to be retroactive to the time of accreditation to the event (Thursday afternoon or Friday afternoon). Therefore, if not requested for the travel and at the borders of the various countries, the ISMF informs that people who cannot perform the test in their own country respecting the given deadline will have the possibility to perform antigenic tests directly on-site on the occasion of the accreditation.

Location: Ground floor of the building where the race office is located – Carretera d’Arinsal 5, 1er, AD400, Arinsal – Andorra.

Time: Thursday 13 January 2022 from 17:30 to 20:00Friday 14 January 2022 from 18:00 to 20:00.

Price: Around 25,00 € per antigenic test.

It is compulsory to book the antigenic tests you need by giving the total number to the LOC Covid-19 Coordinator, Ms. Maria Zorzano, at the following email address mzorzano@vallnord.com.

The LOC would like to inform that the Covid-19 legislation in Andorra is updated every 15 days. Therefore, if more specific information are needed, please do not hesitate to contact Ms. Maria Zorzano at mzorzano@vallnord.com.
