The snow, or rather lack of it in the Eastern Alps is proving to be a hard test for the organisers of ski-mountaineering races with many having to either postpone or cancel events altogether. It seems that miracles have been few and far between, however the Ski Team Lagorai are getting very close to producing one.
The Lagorai and Tesino area has not seen very good snowfalls this season, however with the help of the Funivie Lagorai – the local ski operators – the World Cup events scheduled for 3rd & 4th March are still going ahead. With the Sprint taking place on the Saturday morning and the Individual event on the Sunday.
